Photofit Music Company gives Industrial Insight about the Advantages of Copyright

 Photofit Music Company is a renowned music record label that produces music on the highest scale and distributes it on a wide range of platforms. All record labels gain monetary benefits through the music that they create. They get musicians on board and work with them to create music. But then other people who have not given one-hundredth of the effort upload the same content monetize it and earn money out of it and that is when copyright comes into the picture.

 But what does copyright mean?




Copyright 

The bookish definition of copyright is “the exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material.” but in simple words, the original content that a certain person owns cannot under any circumstances be used by some other person. 


So let's take youtube as an example. Youtube is the second largest search engine in the whole world and it has its own set of copyright rules. So when someone uses content produced by Photofit Music Company, the website notices that there is a purloin that has occurred. So at first Youtube notifies the owner that his content has been used by someone else and whether the user wants to take any action against it. 


The user has two choices: Copyright Claim and Copyright Strike. 


Copyright Claim

If the user claims copyright for example if the user is Photofit Music Company and they claim copyright to the person who has forged their content then that person is made aware that the algorithm knows that content has been wrongly used. They are given a notice period of one week to deal with the owners and take the necessary steps to make amends with the owner and resolve the situation.

Copyright Strike

If the user puts a copyright strike on the person or organization that is using the users content, for example, if Suresh Bhanushali is the user and puts a copyright strike who is using his content without his permission then orders are passed and the video is taken down from the channel of the person who is using the content without permission, effective immediately. And if the person's account gets 3 copyright strikes the channel is suspended.


There are a certain amount of rights and eligibility laws that the user has to abide by and gets to enjoy at the same time. While the concept of copyrights is quite intricate, copyrighting a piece of content and getting monetary benefits out of it isn't that difficult, at least on the internet. It's just a matter of owning the registered copyrights of your piece of content. 


One thing that you should always remember is copyrights not only benefit you financially they also prevent your content from getting stolen.
