It’s time to shake up and take initiative as responsible citizens of our Country. Suresh Bhanushali and Photofit Music join hands and pledge for zero-emission 2050. Here is an occasion to come together and lead the cause.
With numerous other music companies, Suresh Bhanushali and Photofit Music take a step forward for an environmental cause. We want to become an exemplar of Zero Emission and influence the audience to reduce environmental impact, also encouraging ecological activism among music fans, says Rajiv John Sauson, director, Photofit Entertainment.
Zero Emission is discarding greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. Ideally, which means, greenhouse gas emission and greenhouse gas removal when balanced each other lead to net zero. Photofit Music wants to encourage people to understand the concept and help the environment to neutralize.
Further Mr. Rajiv Said, we know how the music industry or live streaming impacts the environment however, having said that, we can aim to work with streaming companies to procure data and switch to carbon emission reduction projects in a synergic manner.
Bhutan is the best example, which is totally carbon negative. Photofit Music is also aiming towards the same. We should collectively work on carbon neutrality. Going green could perhaps be the best biological way to take it forward. Emission can be compensated by the absorption or removal of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. Emission reduction is not the motto zero-emission is what we need to focus on said Mr. Rajiv John Sauson.
Our industry is doomed with matters that include the impact of vinyl manufacturing and energy used in power streaming. However, today most people don’t get their music from vinyl or a CD, but from streaming services. As per reports over 450 million people worldwide subscribed to music streaming platforms. And if we compare both, on a per-unit basis, carbon released from streaming is far lower than the physical format, explained Rajiv John Sauson.
Suresh Bhanushali and Photofit Music along with other artists and music companies pledge to take a step ahead to dismiss carbon footprint and work on carbon building technologies to help our country. India is a developing country and doing our bit can create a big impact.
We are now heading towards the end of 2021, ultimately what seems to be clear is combined efforts will minimize the causes to the environment. The future of our planet lies in the choice we make regarding energy.
